Servicing teens and adults with many different symptoms or health conditions that impact daily life. Services include:
Concussion/Traumatic Brain Injury

Provide education for symptom management, cognitive strategies, including time management, memory, and organization skills

Ideal for clients with mild to moderate brain injury experiencing new or persisting symptoms 

Return To Work

Facilitate strategies for return to work while managing an injury or illness

Will work together to create a graded return to work program, while taking into account physical, cognitive, sensory and psychosocial barriers

Will communicate with employers, unions, insurance companies etc.

ADHD Management for Women

Will focus on women's issues in the realm of ADHD Will provide strategies to manage daily activities and promote executive function skills, including organization and motivation strategies, time management and emotional regulation

Will provide education to understand brain structure and chemistry 

Executive Function/Life Skills

Will provide strategies to manage daily activities including managing attention, planning and problem solving, time management, sequencing, motivation, emotional regulation, and self-awareness

Will work together to create strategies to assist with self management of all activities including those related to work, leisure, and self-care



Ergonomic Assessments

Ergonomic assessments and recommendations Can assess any area, including place of employment or an area of the home (home office, kitchen, laundry room, toolshed etc.)

ME/CFS or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

Provide education and strategies to manage ME/CFS symptoms while completing daily activities

Includes symptom monitoring, crash prevention, and improving symptoms such as fatigue, "brain fog", and pain


Long COVID

Also known as Post COVID Syndrome, Long-Haul COVID, or Chronic COVID

Provide strategies to manage fatigue, improve concentration ("brain fog"), and energy management to complete tasks 

Will provide education to understand and prevent crashes


Dementia

Will assist clients encountering difficulties related to dementia by providing cognitive strategies, facilitating independence in meaningful daily activities, and managing responsive behaviors 

Will provide education and support to caregivers



Home Safety Assessments

Will complete home safety assessments and provide recommendations to promote "aging in place", equipment recommendations, home modifications, accessibility both within and outside the home, and assistance with pre-discharge planning

Will provide strategies to facilitate independence and safety when completing all daily activities

Will provide education regarding safe transfer techniques, fall prevention and caregiver support strategies

Independence in the Community

Will provide education and strategies to facilitate independence outside the home, including at work, while shopping, and navigating the neighbourhood
